The following are results of matches played in connection with the Brougham Hill Club's championships:— Men's Singles.—C. Dixon beat M. Elias, 1-6, 6-4, 6-1; P. M. West beat F. C. Pears, 6-4, 6-3; A. L. France beat C. Dixon, 6-1, 6-2; J. Warsaw beat P. M. West, 8-6, 6-4. Women's Singles.—Final: Miss J. Douthett beat Miss M. Howe, 8-6, 2-6, 6-4.
Men's Doubles.—McLaren and Elias beat Button and Palliser, 6-1, 6-4; Warsaw and Pears beat West and Wearne, 6-3, 6-2. Women's Doubles. —Miss M. Howe and Mrs. Dickson beat Mesdames Miller and Halliday, 6-0, 6-0. Final: Misses Douthett and Warsaw beat Miss M. Howe and Mrs. Dickson, 6-1, 2-6, 6-4.
Mixed Doubles. —C. Dixon and Miss Douthett beat Pears and Miss Warsaw, 6-3, 6-2; Elias and Miss Berry beat H. V. Howe and Mrs. Stevens, 7-5, 6-1. •
Mixed Handicap Doubles. —Richards and Mrs. Dickson (scr) beat Pears and Miss Warsaw (10), 40-33. Vice-president's competition.—Leading women: Miss Z. Castle, 1; Miss McWhirter and Miss J. Congalton, equal, 2; Miss Barry, 3. Leading men: N. Dickson, 1; R. McWhiter and W. Ralph, equal, 2; H. V.Howe, 3.
