600 TINS OF OPIUM
NEW YORK, March 6.
Opium valued at 300,000 dollars was seized in one of the largest Customs raids here, when 600 tins were removed from the freighter Taybank on arrival from Shanghai. Seven men were arrested.
Officials declare that they have finally succeeded in breaking up an important international smuggling ring.
