LONDON, March 3. The extra personnel for the Navy is estimated to cost £8,659,000.
Large-scale repairs are to be under= taken to H.M.S. Warspite, Valiant, Queen Elizabeth, and Renown.
A committee composed of representatives of the Admiralty, the Board of Trade, and shipowners is to be formed to take measures necessary to ensure the least possible dislocation of British shipping'in war time.
