Meanwhile the insurgents are ing north-west of Madrid and it is believed the capital is on the eve of a new onslaught. Government guns are desperately shelling the,enemy concentration. The insurgents responded, twice shelling Madrid.
A Valencia message says that, fighting their way with hand grenades and dynamite, the Government forces arrived within 400 yards of the,., provincial Government building at Oviedo.
A Salamanca message says that Signor Cantalubo, the Italian Ambassador, presented his credentials and assured General Franco of the depth of Italy's love for the new Spain.
