The fourball best-ball competition played at Shandon on Saturday was won by Smith and McCormick, 7 up. Minifie and Thomas were second, 5 up. The bogey event played in the afternoon resulted in a tie between J. Park (3) and K. Jeffrey (1 down). ■ , The Stableford bogey played yesterday morning, was won by N. Fuller with 38 points. • He was closely followed by R. Brien, 36 points. Fuller's medal round was 69. ' The fourball best-ball event played yesterday afternoon resulted in a win for Hipkins and McKclvie, 3 up; Bncn and Smith were 2 up.
