A wedding of interest throughout the Dominion was . celebrated at ;St. Mark's Church, Remuera, on Friday afternoon, when Miss Joan: Vivian Ewen, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs: J. F. Ewen, "Glenesk," Remuera Road, was married to Mr. John Burns Ferguson, second son of Mr; and Mrs. A. M. Ferguson, Victoria .Avenue, Remuera, states the "New Zealand Herald." The Rev. P. Houghton performed the ceremonyand Mr. Maughan Barnett played the wedding music.The church had been attractively decorated with white agapanthus and green asparagus fern,; to match' the bridal frocks.
The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a lovely gown of soft silver lame stamped with a.tiny floral design. Cut on classical lines, the frock had.leg-o'-mutton sleeves to the,elbow and from here were tight-fitting to the wrist, while the .neck-line was softly cowled. A panel at the back of the frock was formed into a long train from the waistline, and over this fell
