The "Daily .Mail" 'saysjhat ,the .German Ambassador, Herr yon Ribbentrop, sawthe Foreign' Secretary, ■Mr Anthony' Eden,' regarding "colonies and asked him. again to,- examine the matter, ■ but did. not submit I any definite plans. Mr. Eden is understood to have informed Herr yon Ribbentrop that British policy had not altered since the declaration in the House of Commons, when he explained that the colonial question concerned others' besides Great Britain, and that any alteration in the present situation would involve many difficulties.
