HUNGARIAN MINE STRIKERS

BUDAPEST, February 25.

The deadlock continues at the Funfkirchen mine, from which 20 exhausted stay-in strike miners were • evacuated for health reasons.

One of the men declared that his workmates were ill with hunger and their thirst almost unbearable. The air was abominable.

Youths guarding the pit entrance with axes are preventing forcible entry.
