KING NEPTUNE'S BLEEDING

The bleeding trouble that affected King Neptune after he had won at the summer carnival at Ellerslie recurred when he was contesting the Vercoe Handicap, at Te Rapa last Monday, and in consequence his future does not appear too hopeful. His dam, Queen March, bled before the conclusion of her racing career, and the weakness may.be hereditary. King Neptune is a good galloper, but must now be regarded as a doubtful proposition.
