BIGAMY AND ASSAULT
(By 'Telegraph.—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, This Day. William Joseph Fox, who admitted bigamy and was found guilty, of aggravated assault on two police, officers, was sentenced yesterday .to two years' hard labour and two years* reformative detention. He had be^en acquitted on a charge of attempting*, to murder Detective P. Kearney.
