NEW CONSULS ARRIVE

AUCKLAND, This Day
By the Monterey from Los Angeles today came two new United States Consuls, Mr. J. G. Groeninger replaces Mr. Walter Boyle at Auckland. He is unmarried and was formerly stationed at Karachi, India. Mr. Groeninger was due , to. arrive on Christmas Day but was delayed by. the Pacific Coast "shipping strike. Mr. Glion Curtis, jun., becomes Vice-Consul at Wellington. Apart from nine months at Budapest this is his first foreign appointment. He is accompanied by his wife.
