OVIEDO STRUGGLE

OFFENSIVE RENEWED

MADRID, February 24.

Fierce fighting continues around Oviedo. . The loyalists renewed their offensive, attacking the armaments factory. They claim to have entered the southern side of the city. Battles are reported in the streets.

The insurgents claim that the Government lost over 10,000 in the Oviedo offensive.

The Government is strengthening its resistance. Severe measures are being introduced to weed out slackers.
