AMBULANCE STREET DAY.
The Wellington Free Ambulance street day yesterday met with a satisfactory response, despite the unfavourable weather. The sum of £143 10s 2d was collected as. follows:—D.l.C. and Kirkcaldie and Stains's corners, Mrs. Gaby and assistants, £36 17s 7d; Brooklyn, Mrs. Shardlow, £1 9s Id; G.P.0., Mrs. Flannagan and assistants, £14 0s 2d; Boulcott Street, Mrs. Parnell and assistants, £6 7s 7d; Courtenay Place, Mrs. Rogers and assistants, £12 19s lOd; James Smith's corner, Mrs. Rpffe, Mrs. McGowan, arir? assistants, £24 13s 7d; Bank of Fer.l Zealand, Mrs. Pow and assistants,. .;25 4s 8d; Bowen Street, Free'Amtn? :.nee Women's Auxiliary and assistants. £21 17s Bd.
