(By Telegraph—Press Association.) . AUCKLAND, February 24.

The supply of bread to the Auckland Hospital Board for its various institutions was further considered by the finance and purchasing committee of the board today. The contractor for the supply of bread, Mr. S. J. Thomas, of the. Crown Bakery Company, was represented by a solicitor, Mr, Hogben. After a full Siscussion it was agreed to give Mr. Thomas until next Wednesday to reply to the various charges made. It was claimed by Mr. Hogben that a complete ar^wer could be made to certain charges if reasonable time were given. A special meeting of the committee will be held to consider Mr. Thomas's reply. "
