HUTT RIVER
WATERS RECEDE
The Hutt River, which rose rapidly yesterday morning, fell almost as rapidly during the afternoon and evening and is today running only a few feet above normal. The results of the flooding have not yet been ascertained, but it is expected that it will have had a beneficial effect on the channel of the river.
