In the Sheffield Shield match South Australia, who made 270 in the first innings, in their second innings scored 132 for three wickets (Ryan 41, Bradman 38 not out, Badcock 27 not out). O'Reilly took two wickets for 13. Rain stopped play and stumps were drawn at 5 p.m. New South Wales won on the first innings by 85 runs. New South Wales made 355 and 242.
