INTER-HOUSE GIRLS' SPORTS
A meeting of the Wellington InterHouse Girls' Association was held in the Garrison Hall, Buckle Street, last evening, when arrangements, were finalised for the sports meeting to'be held on March 6. Mr. C. Stone presided. The r sub-committee's action in obtaining the show grounds for the meeting was approved. Officials for the day were appointed, and a postponement committee, comprising. Messrs. C. Stone, Marshall, and G. P. O'Leary, set up. Eight prominent Wellington establishments will be represented at the sports meeting, by teams of girls. Cups for marching, physical drill, etc., will be competed for, and basketball will also be played. The marching order of the various teams is as follows:—1, Stone's; 2, Jasco (James Smith's); 3, Woolworths; 4, Samo' (Amos'); 5.-Prestige: 6. Bryant and May's: 7. National Distributors; 8, J. R. McK.enzie's, Ltd.
