Lady Murray, wife of Sir Herbert Murray, Lieutenant-Governor of Papua, who is ■at present visiting Christchurch, will leave for Wellington tomorrow evening.

Mrs. D. T. Burgin, wife of the Par-liamentary-Secretary, British Board of Trade, and Miss M. A. Burgin, left Auckland yesterday by the Aorangi for Vancouver. .

Miss J. Wilson was a Wellington visitor to Hamilton at. the weekend. Mrs. L. H. Tingey, formerly of Hataitai, has taken Mrs. John C. Colwill's house in Oriental Bay during the latter's absence abroad.

Mr. and Mrs. Eric Riddiford, of Orongorongo, and Miss Riddiford are to leave Auckland for the United Stales en route to the Old Country by the Monterey on March 8. They will make a brief tour of the States on the way Home, and will connect with the Atlantic liner Queen Mary at New York. They will be in London for the Coronation festivities, and will be present, at the Dublin Horse Show. They will return to New Zealand by the Empress of' Britain as far as Montreal; and will travel from San Francisco to Auckland by the Mariposa.

Christchurch visitors to. Wellington for the Rotary Conference next week will include Mr. and ' Mrs. E. H. S. Hamilton, Mr. and Mrs.E. E. Weston, Mr. and Mrs. H. Light-band, Mr. and Mrs. L. G. K. Miss E. King, Wellington, who has been visiting Patea, has returned home.

Mrs. Glanville Milne, Wellington, is spending ten days in Christchurch.
