TOPS MARKET FIRMER

Wright,- Stephenson, and Co.. Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., have today received cable/advice from their London office relating to the London wool sales as . follows:—Wool catalogued, 75,750' bales for the next sales commencing March 2 and concluding on March 12.
Dalgety and Co., London, report:— At the March sales opening on March 2 we anticipate fair demand with decline merino 5 per cent, to 7i per cent, crossbred 10 per cent.
For the sales opening on-March 2 the list of arrivals closed on February 22. The following vessels in which we are interested have arrived:—^Mataroa, Ruahine, Akaroa. Rangitane, Mahia, Benreoch, Port Hunter, and Pakeha. Dalgety's selling dates.are: —March 3, 5. 9, 11. and 12. The sales'close on March 12. ■
