YOUNG MAN'S CRIMES

Commenting that the prisoner had not taken advantage of the opportunity afforded him in May last when he was granted probation, the Chief Justice (Sir Michael Myers) today ordered Herbert Henry Ash, aged 20, a 'machinist, to be detained in a Borstal institution for three years, on charges of breaking and entering with intent to steal, and breach of probation.
