Posing as one of the most successful spies in the service of Germany, she is really working for the French Government. This beautiful twenty-year-old London player has the most important.role of her short but exciting career as the spy Madeleine, opposite Conrad Veidt. She has just finished playing in Erich Pommer's "Fire Over England," as Cynthia, lady-in-waiting to Queen Elizabeth. She was born in Darjeeling. India, and was educated at Roehampton and Paris. She leaped to stardom by a brilliant performance in "The Mask of Virtue" on the London stage. - .
