The events in the. Wellington Croquet Association's annual tournament are now nearing'the concluding stages and already two finals have been decided. Yesterday in perfect;,weather : .conditions,- some brilliant play was seen ;by the gallery and in the final of the open championship Mrs. D. p. Henderson (Wellington) defeated E. Munagh (Taumarunui), 26-18, 26-6.' In the final of event three, level,singles, Mrs. Eidley (Central) defeated Mrs.'lSivyer (Hastings), 26-18, 22-26, 26-18.
