;.' At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Institute of Architects, the following members of the council were elected unopposed:—Sou+ij Auckland, *Ja, H. Ij. White; Hawke's Bay and Gisborne, Messrs.* H. E. Phillips and F. H. Forge; Taranaki and Wanganui, '.lessrs. T. H. Bates and P. G. Talboys; Wellington, Messrs. E. H. de J. Clere, J. M. Dawson, and H. C. Morton;.'Canterbury, Messrs. B. J. Agar, W. H. Trengrove, and.G. D. -Griffiths; Otago, Messrs. E. S. C. Miller and A. L. Salmond; Southland, Mr. A.'C. Ford. In an election. for council members for the Auckland'district, the elected candidates were Messrs. S. S. Alleman, J.1 Park, and L. S. Piper. j 's The president will be elected at a I meeting of the new council tomorrow.l
Iridescent white flowers are being worn in the hair. They are arranged across the top of the head, with the leaves providing the only colour relief. '
