Business on the Sydney Stock Exchange today was fairly buoyant. More attention was given to bank shares, which moved upward. Industrials were irregular, while Barriers responded to firmer metal- prices. On the Melbourne Stock Exchange today bonds were quiet. Industrials were generally steady. Broken Hill Proprietary were better, but G. J. Coles were easier.
