PETONE WRESTLING CLUB
The Petone Wrestling and Sports Club held its first annual general meeting in the club's gymnasium during the weekend. •In the absence of the president (Mr. H. Fahey),Mr. H.Emmett presided over' a fair attendance of members and intending members. An interesting discussion on the annual report revealed the enthusiasm of those present and augured well for the coming season.' The following officers were elected:—Patron, Mr.v George London; president, Mr. H. Fahey; club captain, Mr. C. King; vice-club captain, Mr. T. Beard; honorary secretary, Mr. W. B. Gough;' honorary treasurer, Mr. A. Corby; management committee, Messrs. F. Biggins, A. Wilson, C. King, L. Eagles, and H. King; wrestling instructor, Mr. T. King; physical instructor, Mr. H. Emmett; publicity officer, Mr. W. J. Gough. . i ' The club's appreciation of the assistance of the Press was put on record.
