(Special to the "Evening Post.") LEVIN, This Day. For 'the year 1936-37 the rates collected by the Levin Borough Council total £6462, and represent 92:5 per cent, of the amount levied. Foe the previous'year, at the corresponding date, the amount collected was £5945, representing 90.45 of the total.
Severe head injuries and concur sion were sustained by Herbert Plank, aged 16, of 16 Antico Street. Melrose, who fell from his bicycle when'riding down Tavistock Road at about 6.30 p.m. yesterday. He was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance.'
Ramsey Wilson, Ltd., auctioneers, will sell furniture and a radio set at the residence, 194 Vivian Street, at. 1 p.m. tomorrow. ,'
