RELIGION IN ENGLAND
Although there are reports of a falling off in interest in religion in England, the Rev, W. S. Southward, who has just returned to New Zealand, expresses the view that this is not the case. In the February issue of the "Church News" he states that although he visited many churches in England, the services seemed to be very well attended; and more than once during his stay he had to stand in a queue to gain admission to a service. The choral work was b.eaulifully rendered, but he heard few good preachers.
