Lady Roberts, Lower Hutt, is the guest of Mrs. J. Murray, Woodbank, Blenheim.
Mrs. H. Pritchard has returned to Wellington after spending a holiday at Hawera as the guest of Mrs. N. Grant.
Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Sawell have taken up residence in Mrs. Charles Richardson's house, 14 Selwyn Terrace. Mrs. A. Porter, Wellington, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. P. H. Instone, Manaia, has returned home. Mrs. K. S. Robinson is a Wellington visitor to New Plymouth for the Boswell-Oliver wedding. She is staying with Mrs. H. R. Boswell, Frankleigh Park. Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Cohen, Melbourne, arrived by the Oronsay on Monday and were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. I. Goldsmith, Brooklyn. Mrs. Owen Williams, Christ's College, is a visitor to Wellington. She came to say farewell to her son, Mr. Errol Williams, who left for Sydney by the Awatea yesterday. Mrs. Williams will return home at the end of the week.
Mrs. Vesey Robinson, who has been spending a holiday in Wellington, has returned to her home in Blenheim. . Mrs. F. Higginson, Whangarei, who has been spending a holiday in Wellington as the guest of her daughter, Mrs. R. Bond, has returned home. Visiting Gisborne next week will be Mrs. C. K. Wilson (Pio Pio), Dominion president of the W.D.F.U.; and Mrs. J. C. Wickham (Wanganui), a Dominion vice-president. They intend visiting many of the W.D. branches on the east coast.
Mrs. A. Pirie is a Wellington visitor to Auckland. Miss Edith Fraser, who has been visiting Australia and the East, has returned to Wanganui. Mrs", Cedric Herman returned to her home in Auckland yesterday, after an extended visit to the Wairarapa and Wellington. Miss Madever was a Wellington visitor to Hamilton for the Girdwood-John-stone wedding. Mrs. Alec Haslam, Christchurch, is the guest of Mrs. C. E. Beeby, Wellington. Miss M. Cresswell, who has been the guest of Mrs. R. Laurie Cooper, New Plymouth, returned to Wellington on Monday. Mrs. C. Lawton, Glenmore Street, and Mrs. A. Tester, Hataitai, have left for Gisborne to a.ttend the Foresters' tri-annual meeting.
. Mrs. A. B. Stuart, Remuera Road, Auckland, is visiting Wellington. Miss E. Scott and Miss Enid Wilson, of the Free Kindergarten, have returned to Wellington * from a visit to Sydney. , , Mrs. Tanner, Palmer Street, left by the Awatea yesterday for Australia I and England. | Miss P. Foster, who has been visiting Dr. and Mrs. Alexander Wilson, at Wanganui, left for Wellington and Christchurch on Tuesday. Mrs. W. Purse, Christchurch, is visiting Mrs. McCleary, Island Bay. Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Cross left Wanagnui today for a two-years' trip abroad. They will visit Great Britain, Europe, and California. Mrs. J. S. Webb and Mr. A. F. Williams returned to Wellington, on Monday night after attending the diamond wedding of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. Williams, of Hastings. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Carr and. Miss Valerie Carr, Wellington, have left for a motor tour of the North Island. Mrs. A. H. McLean, "Birdgrove," Wanganui, is visiting. Wellington. Miss Joan Watson,- who has been spending a holiday in Wellington, has returned to Hamilton. Miss Dorothy Gyde; Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. Paul Mickle, Christchurch. Mrs. J. Uttley, Gonville, Wanganui, is in Wellington to meet her sister, Miss. Nan Leyland, of Dunedin, who will arrive on Saturday after a sevenmonths' visit to Britain and the Continent. Mrs. F. Hatherly is a Wanganui visitor to Wellington. Mesdames W. O. Haslam and F. Astley (Auckland), B. A. Campbell (New Plymouth), S. Innes-Jones (Christchurch), and Miss L. Bibby (Napier)-are staying at the Royal Oak Hotel. Mesdames J. M. Hardcastle and H. S.. Brown (Auckland), W. K. Burnside (Melbourne), J. E. Pidgeon, J. T. Campbell and M. Newmark (London) are staying at the Hotel St. George. Mrs E. Everett and Mrs. A. H. McLean (Wanganui) and Miss L. Murdoch (Sydney) are among the guests staying at the Grand Hotel.
Mrs E R. Bolwell (Dunedin), Mrs. Gower (Lyttelton), and Miss D. McLean (Wanganui) are guests at the Empire Hotel. Mrs. Stanley Caro (Hamilton) and Mrs. Hugh McLaren <Masterton) are among the guests at the Midland Hotel. Mr and Mrs. Thomas Neale, of Nelson, left by the Awatea for a visit to Sydney and Melbourne.
