LONDON, February 2.
Miss Jean Mac Queen, Glasgow, originally a typist, has been appointed chief executive of the Scottish Co-operative Union which controls societies with an annual trade of over £60,000,000.
She was the only woman among 58 applicants. She recently toured America in charge o£ the Scottish women's hockey team.
