SMOKE CAUSES COLLISION

A thick pall of smoke from gorse fires near the. Main Road, Paraparaumu, was responsible for two cars colliding late yesterday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. N. C. MacKenzie, of Paraparaumu, passengers in one of the cars, were each slightly injured about the face and mouth. After receiving dental treatment in Wellington they were taken by the Free Ambulance to the home of a friend in Kelburn.
