TOURNAMENT AT LEVIN
The Manawatu Bowling Centre arranged a match between teams representing, the northern and southern parts of the district last Saturday. The games were played, on the Levin green and resulted in a win for the south by 168 points to 153. Mr. H. Denton, president of the" Levin Club, welcomed the visitors, Mr. J. A. Nash replying. Detailed results are as follows: —Oroua: Hewat (s) 20; Levin: Levcrsedge (s) 24. Feilding: Dumner (s) 14; Shannon: Grey (s) 21. Palmerston Nor'h: Child" (s) 20; Levin: Bull (s) 21. Manawatu: Low (s) 10; Levin: Clements (s) 28. Terrace End: Evans (s) 14; Foxton: Daymon (s) 26. Palmerston North: Nash (s) 37; Foxton: Howe (s) 12. Northern: Rabone (s) 18; Levin: Langelan (s) 23. Takaro; Monks (s) SO; Shannon: Hemmings*n (s) 13. Totals: Northern 153, Southern 168.
