The selector, Mr. A. M. Ongley, has chosen the following players to represent Country in the cricket match at Pelmerston North against the Wellington Plunket Shield team, on Wednesday and Thursday next:—
W. Norfis (captain), G. Robertson, A. Cutler, T: Pritchard (Manawatu), S. Betts, E. Christensen, G. Groombridge (Taranaki), T. Reaney, T. Johnson (Hawke's Bay), H. B. Massey (Wairarapa), W. Hay ward (Rangitikei). Twelfth man: J. Murchison (Manawatu).
