Colman considers his role in "Lost Horizon" the most important \ of his long career as a motion-picture ' star. Capra delayed starting the picture for en entire year in order to have ; Colman, who was,tied up with previous commitments, play the leading role of Robert Conway. After 117 days of continuous shooting, including night after night of location work, the picture was finished and Colman left Hollywood for a well-earned vacation. a trifle fearful that his efforts might not have measured up to the importance of his assignment. This thought '■ will be dispelled by every one who : has seen "Lost Horizon" in the cutting : room.
