SOUTH AFRICAN BILL
(Received February 4, 10 a.m.)

The Abdication Bill passed its third reading, with four Dominion Party dissentients.
The Prime Minister, General Hertzog, announced that the Government had no intention of introducing legislation for the appointment of a Regency. The Government's own legislation sufficiently provided for contingencies envisaged in the British Bill.
