ATHLETIC TEAM

. The Wellington amateur, athletic team, which is to meet a Canterbury team in an interprovincial contest at Christchurch on Saturday afternoon, is leaving for the south tomorrow night. Owing to' the indisposition of Mr. A. Hose, who was appointed to the position, Mr. E. Perrett is to accompany the team as manager.

The selector (Mr. A. C. Kitto) stated today that L. S. Black (University) would'now be running the mile and W. Ogg (Olympic) would be reserved for the half-mile, for which he was selected originally. . ' • ; '
