WELLINGTON CLUB 1

In tho fifth round of the Pennant . competition last .Saturday, despite the tricky wind which sent many bowls ' far and wide on greens made fast by the hot sun, the Wellington' Bowling Club was fortunate enough to score full points in sections B, C, and D in the senior division and to win one game out of two played in the junior division. . . The first-two rounds of the junior rinks comfcetition for a trophy presented by Mr. J. O'Donnell will' be played on Saturday at 1.15 and 4 p.m. respectively; Eight rinks will compete. Only bowlers of four years' standing or under are eligible. The senior champion singles is now in its final stages, only four players being left in. London is to play Shillson in the final game in section A, and C. R. Ingram wfll meet F. Ross in the final game of section B.
