PAHIATUA LAMB SALE.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., submitted an entry of 700 lambs at the Pahiatua sale yesterday, and although prices were quite satisfactory the absence. of competition from buyers frotn outside districts slowed up bidding. The whole entry was quitted at the following prices:— Woolly wether lambs, 117 at 22s 3d, 46 at 17s 6d, 67 at 15s lOd; cull pens, 10s 9d to 12s 7d; shorn wether lambs, 44 at 16s lOd; ewe lambs, woolly, 19s 7d to 24s 3d; cull ewe lambs, 16s 7d to 17s; fat wethers, 265.
