RUGBY, February 1,

The King and Queen, who on their return from Sandringham on Saturday sr t the weekend at the Royal Lodge, Windsor Great Park, from the flagstaff of which the Royal Standard. was flown for the first time, returned to London today. Queen Mary, who is in residence at Marlborough House, London, paid a visit to Windsor Castle yesterday.

Before the King and Queen left Windsor they spent three hours inspecting the private apartments in the castle, where extensive redecorations are in progress.
