ROOSEVELT'S SECOND TERM
WASHINGTON, January 19,
President Roosevelt's first term drew to a close today, a constitutional amendment having changcd the date from March 4 to January 20.
An atmosphere of gaiety and confidence prevails on the eve of the celebration of the inauguration of his second term, contrasting sharply with the despondency and gloom of the 1933 banking crisis.
