YACHTING AT PAREMATA
On Sunday the monotype race was held at Paremata in a light northerly wind with spring tides. There were tv/enty-four entrants and the race was run in four heats. The four firsts and the two fastest seconds raced off in the final. T _ The winners of the heats were: L. D. Muir in the Jeanette, J. Burrow in the Avalon, A. Stirling in the Marie, W. Reid in the Marie. The two seconds recording fastest times were W. Ginders in the Marie and F. Saunders in the Watti. . The draw for the final was: L. Meier in the Jeanette, J. Burrow in the Watti, A. Stirling in the Ozone, W. Reid in the Twink, F. Saunders in the Adair, W. Ginders in the Marie. The wind had freshened considerably for this race and the competitors had plenty of excitement in completing the course. The result was:J. Burrow, Watti , 1 F. Saunders, Adair 2 W. Reid. Twink 3
