Dargaville.—The victim of a motor accident on Saturday afternoon, Abraham Nathan, of Maropiu, passed away , at the Northern Wairoa Hospital this morning. Mr. Nathan, who never-regained consciousness, was a married man with five daughters, the eldest of whom is 11 years of age. He Was a popular member of the Kaihu. football team a few years ago. Westport.—Sydney Lowery, aged 30, married, with two children, an employee of the WestportStockton Coal Company, was killed when a brake car he was operating left the rails an<J overturned when the brakes failed to operate.
