There is now a doubt about what rider will be on Lowenberg m the Wellington Cup tomorrow. r. Atkins was understood to have been engaged for him, but, accoioing to a northern report, L. Dulicu claims that he was priorly engaged after winning the Stratford Cup on the four-year-old.
Concertpitch, a winner at Ashburtan in December at his last start, may t> the best of the males, with Royal Dance, who favours the track, perhaps likeliest of the others. Greek Gold and Pakanui would come into * av °u r on a soft track. The sprint lnv«tments may be cast main y-for Gold Boa (both ways), and Laughing Lass and Concertpitch (places).
