AUCKLAND, This Day.

When the crack filly Parisiennc landed at Auckland yesterday she was very sore, the trouble being sufficiently serious to arouse doubt as to her being able to give of her best in the Derby to. morrow, although the easing of the track may help. There was a similar position a few years ago, but despite his weakness Indianapolis defeated Taxpayer. So far Parisienne is head and shoulders above the opposition in the classic, and she would be conceding from 144 yards to 204 yards' start under handicap conditions. True Trust and Ropata are the only other youngsters that have shown winning form.

The various handicap events have filled splendidly, and the big sprint, after yesterday's splendid Cup tussle, will again be a thriller, with King'i Warrior and Rey Spec probably disputing supremacy once again. The following are form horses for tomoiTOw:—
