VATICAN CITY, December 28.
The Pope passed a fairly good night, and is progressing normally, despite pain, but varicose ulcers in the left leg are preventing his sleeping. His Holiness is still transacting business. Nevertheless, it is feared that his weak condition will lead to further complications.
