During the voyage of the Narkunda from Sydney to Brisbane Elias Mandich, who was returning to Auckland after making a business visit to ,London, died and was buried at sea on Sunday. . '
The Narkunda, which left Sydney on Friday with a large number of tourists for New Zealand, arrived here Sunday night. A post-mortem examinatio"n showed that Mandich's' death was due to heart failure. He was a native of Yugoslavia, and ,ha 1 been in business in Auckland for some years.
