FOOD POISONING

THREE PEOPLE AFFECTED

(Special to the "Evening Post.")

PALMERSTON N., This Day.

Three cases of ptomaine poisoning, all from the same house, were admitted to the Palmerston North Hospital last evening. The sufferers were Mr. Martin Pearce, aged 31, married, company manager; Mrs. Margaret Pearce, aged 60; and Mr. John Weston, machinist. Each of the sufferers, who reside at 313 Ferguson Street, Palmerston North, had eaten tinned tongue during the evening meal.

This morning it was reported that satisfactory progress had been shown in each instance.
