BIG RIVER REPORT

, Big River Gold Mines, Ltd., reports for the week ending December 21 as follows: —No. 4 Level. —South stope: Filling-in work was completed and now rising for new stope. No; 5 Level.— South drive advanced 10ft on reef track carrying small seams of stone. North drive was advanced 14ft on reef track carrying small -seams and boulders of stone. Total distance driven, reef track, south drive 42ft; north drive 29ft; total, 71ft. Of this there is 25ft showing in north drive showing 2ft of reef overhead. The north drive has been driven through reef track carrying boulders of stone. The annual inspection of boiler and plant was completed and found in good • order.
