ATTACK ON STALIN
ALLEGED TROTSKY DOCUMENT
NEW YORK, December 26. The ".New York Times" publishes exclusively what is alleged to be a document written by M. Leon Trotsky, the Russian exile, and just received at New York. It charges M. Stalin with deliberately liquidating the Communist revolution by killing off its old leaders, and declares that the lives of those who confessed at the August trial-had been promised them if they gave the desired testimony, but that Stalin betrayed his promise. It declared that it is Stalin's intent to eradicate the growing discontent of'workers and the populace in general by terror.
