FULL AGREEMENT LATER

(Received December 28, 10.45 a.m.) TOKIO, December 27. The Foreign Office has published a statement by the chief of the information bureau which says that the new trade measures are of an emergency nature to promptly, restore, trade relations, and that full agreement must await future negotiations. The bonds of friendship between Japan and Australia will be drawn closer by the successful conclusion of the negotiations, which will also favourably affect the general trade relations of Japan and the British Empire.
