DREDGING RETURNS

(By Telegrivnh—l'resg Association.) HOKITIKA, This Day. The Rimu Dredge return for 61J hours to December 24 was 21,247 yards excavated for 95.650z of gold. Worksop Extended Gold Dredging Co. reports the following return for the week ending December 24:—Yield, 117oz; hours dredged, 137; yardage treated, 12,500. Argo Gold Dredging Co., Ltd., reports the following return for the period ending December 24:—Yield, 150oz; hours dredged, 225; yardage treated, 20,000. The Commonwealth Aircraft Pty., Ltd., was recently formed with a capital of £1,000,000 to build aeroplanes. It bought out during the month the Tugan Aircraft, Ltd., which, established at Mascot where the main aerodrome of Sydney is situated, has been constructing aeroplanes on the Kingsford Smith Aerodrome. Commonwealth Aircraft Pty. has been endeavouring to obtain a site for a factory in Melbourne.
